What You’ll Do:

As the sole (“founding”) Product leader at Brightloom, you will be a key leader in envisioning and achieving Brightloom’s successful future. You will partner closely with key leaders and the executive team to envision, vet, drive, and deliver Brightloom’s product roadmap. You’ll partner with engineering and data science teams on the development of an innovative, high performance, scalable, and extensible software platform for Brightloom’s restaurant brands that leverages data and machine learning to generate insights and drive personalization for their guests. This platform and set of capabilities is at the heart of Brightloom’s mission to transform the customer experience and enable business growth on behalf of our brands at a global scale.

About You:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• 8+ years of software product management experience; preferably within a product team, professional services firm or similar environment.

• Orchestrating the collaboration of external stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including data science, software engineering, and design is second nature to you

• You are proven in leading product strategy, maintaining roadmaps, articulating requirements, delivering customer-facing experiences, and managing product tradeoffs

• You operate independently while proactively identifying roadblocks and engaging leaders for help.

• You can lead a technical and executive team through the creation and delivery of a product vision, strategy, and long-term roadmap.

• You have developed technical requirements for marketing technology and/or analytics features/products.

• You’re a valuable contributor to engineering discussions around technology decisions and product tradeoffs

• Strong critical thinking skills and analytical/quantitative skills, including proficiency pulling, manipulating, and analyzing data using SQL, spreadsheets, etc

• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to concisely communicate with and influence stakeholders, engineers, partner teams, and executives

• You thrive on the opportunity and adrenaline rush of a fast paced startup where ambiguity and frequent change of a nimble, adaptive business prevail

Bonus Points:

• You have built software products for the restaurant industry

• Understanding of data science, applied predictive models, and machine learning systems

• Background in software architecture/design and software/systems engineering

• Experience using digital marketing technologies like CRMs, CDPs, Campaign Management, and/or digital analytics to generate business results
