About the Role

We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic Entry-Level Bioprocess Technician to join our pioneering pilot plant team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for individuals starting their career in bioprocessing, offering a hands-on experience in the heart of our operations. You'll spend the majority of your time (80-90%) actively engaged on the manufacturing floor or in the lab, directly contributing to the creation of high-quality products vital for our scale-up processes. Your responsibilities will include routine tasks such as sample management and meticulous documentation, ideal for those who thrive on clear instructions and structured tasks. With your strong communication skills, you'll document activities accurately and collaborate effectively with the team. Under the guidance of our experienced process engineers, you'll learn the ins and outs of operational excellence, from maintaining equipment to ensuring processes run smoothly. As you grow in your role, you'll tackle increasingly complex tasks, expanding your skill set and knowledge in bioprocessing.

What you'll accomplish:

• Operational Involvement: Operate manufacturing equipment under close supervision, contributing to key production processes.
• Adherence to SOPs: Carry out tasks in line with our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), focusing on safety and precision.
• Data Collection: Assist in gathering and organizing data from lab instruments, learning foundational data analysis and reporting skills.
• Process Monitoring: Help monitor equipment and processes, learning to identify deviations and communicate them effectively.
• Preparation and Assembly: Gain practical experience in media preparation and bioreactor assembly, crucial for bioprocessing operations.
• Maintenance and Organization: Play a part in keeping the lab and plant environments clean and orderly, understanding the role of cleanliness in successful lab operations.

Schedule: Friday - Tuesday weekdays are 10 AM- 7 PM, weekend hours flexible

Pay Range: $65,000 - $75,000
