The Role:
The EVERY Company is currently seeking a talented and innovative (Senior) Process Engineer to join our Process Development and ScaleUp team. As a (Senior) Process Engineer, you will have the opportunity to participate in activities directly related to different aspects of fermentation and downstream process development and industrialization of animal free egg proteins. You will be a key figure to work on producing and purifying transformative ingredients and change the existing food system.
What you'll accomplish
- Drive improvements in yield, quality, and efficiency in fermentation and downstream processes across various products using different techniques.
- Support scale-up scale-down experiments and work to creatively find solutions for at scale problems
- Be a technical resource for internal manufacturing, business development, and external manufacturing teams to troubleshoot problems on the floor and recommend solutions
- Manage external vendors, recommend equipment, and arrange for purchase of equipment and parts adhering to quality standards and necessary specifications.
- Be a subject matter expert in all unit operations and have the ability to pick up new equipment quickly
- Have the ability to be an independent contributor and work under ambiguity
- Travel (up to 35%) to manufacturing sites to support tech transfer at commercial partners
What you bring (required)
- Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in chemical engineering with 5+ years of demonstrated downstream purification experience in pilot plant, with commercial scale experience highly preferred
- Existing knowledge of downstream purification operations, specifically TFF, depth filtration, continuous centrifugation, and spray drying. Knowledge of yeast fermentation is a plus.
- Existing knowledge and prior experience in GMP facilities
- Knowledge of data processing and statistical analysis software such as JMP, Tableau, PowerBi.
- Experience with modeling software (SuperPro, Aspen, MATLAB, etc.) a plus

Pay Range: $120,000 - 130,000 + Stock Options
At EVERY™ pay ranges are subject to change and assigned to a job based on the location specific market median of similar jobs according to 3rd party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary for several reasons including skills/capabilities, experience, and available budget.
