The Role

Do you want to help bring new and powerful technology to market in the food space? Triplebar is entering a growth phase where our technology is generating product offerings that require product managers to play a leadership role in bringing them to market. We're looking for an energetic colleague with product management experience and a self-starting entrepreneurial attitude to join our team. You will be the product owner for a new food product enabled by our technology. You will collaborate with the Business Development and R&D teams on the entire development cycle from gathering requirements through to product launch. A successful candidate for this role will be comfortable living at the intersection of cutting edge technology and market needs, articulating the requirements that make Triplebar's products valuable to the world!

Responsibilities

  • Collect voice of customer for product value propositions, and use this insight throughout product development
  • Set product critical to quality (CTQ) metrics
  • Lead internal teams to deliver product according to customer requirements on spec and and on time
  • Manage product development through a stage gate process, ensuring alignment across internal teams and timely completion of development tasks
  • Collaborate with external teams (partners, customers, and vendors) to manage completion of tasks associated with product launch
  • Live and communicate Triplebar's values of: One Team, Transparency, Ownership, Courage, and Continuous Improvement
  • Contribute to building an exciting and successful start-up company

Required Skills And Background

  • BS/MS in a related discipline with 3+ years product management or equivalent experience in the food or synthetic biology industry
  • Must have experience managing a food or synthetic biology product
  • Deep understanding of the regulatory and value chain landscape within food ingredients, including specific segments like infant nutrition and supplements
  • Experience translating customer needs into technical requirements
  • Demonstrated success working at the interface of external business and internal technical teams
  • Demonstrated success leading matrixed teams
  • Experience managing external teams and vendors through successful delivery of products

Preferred Skills And Background

  • Experience working at a start-up company and bringing a technology to market through partnership
  • Experience with an "agile" team project structure and development environment
  • Experience with cell culture and/or the cultivated meat industry

The annual base pay range for this position is anticipated to be $130,000 - $160,000 however the base pay offered may vary depending on location, market, job related knowledge, skills and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes equity and benefits.
