You'll hold the responsibility of supporting the lab functionality of a transformative company by managing all lab consumables/asset inventory. Responsibilities

This role intends to comprehensively support both Lab Operations and scientists, with an emphasis on inventory and asset management, to drive the successful, cutting-edge biotech company. At Triplebar, we value ownership of results rather than simple completion of tasks. You will have ownership and influence in the following:

  • Monitor and order lab consumables and gas supply
  • Assisting the Lab Manager in overseeing and managing laboratory inventory, both consumables and assets
  • Inspect and approve invoices for payment via Bill.com
  • Manage company card and receipts via Brex
  • Ensure critical lab supplies are always available for pipeline operations
  • Receive, track, and store deliveries while effectively communicating arrivals
  • Be familiar with EH&S standards and SDS to properly store all chemicals, medias, and compressed gasses
  • Optimize inventory systems and spaces for organization and maximum user efficiency
  • Establish and maintain inventory consumption tracking system with oversight from the Lab Manager
  • Annually update onsite chemical inventory in centralized database for regulatory reporting purposes
  • Maintain updated digital and physical copies of all SDS
  • Managing and implementing equipment service schedules and renewals
  • Manage equipment maintenance, PMs/calibrations, repairs, including filters, user calibration, etc.
  • Manage equipment inventory, including onboarding/offboarding and tracking location changes
  • Assist with lab member onboarding/offboarding
  • Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed strictly at all times and maintain a clean and orderly environment

Required Skills And Background

  • Familiarity with laboratory workflows and EH&S
  • High organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface at all levels of professionalism
  • Ability to handle multiple requests, work in a fast-paced environment, and be responsive to employee requests/service issues
  • Proactive approach to identifying problems and problem-solving independently and collaboratively
  • Capable of working hands-on and lift up to 30 pounds on a daily basis
  • 2+ years experience in a supply chain role

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Quartzy, Benchling, and/or other laboratory software
  • Proven experience in Purchasing/Receiving or relevant position
  • Experience in working around electrical and nonelectrical laboratory equipment and potentially dangerous substances (flammable liquids, infectious bacteria, biohazards etc.)
  • Excellent physical condition and endurance
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace and database systems
  • Ability to work autonomously and under pressure
  • Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry or relevant field is a plus

The annual base pay range for this position is anticipated to be $67,000-$72,000, however the base pay offered may vary depending on location, market, job related knowledge, skills and experience.
